After referring to this notification; to the report in the Daily Press of 27th April 1897 of the meeting of the Committee with special reference to No.3 of Mr. Whitehead's resolutions, and to the heading which was affixed to the lists asking for subscriptions (see 1 in C.O. 1098/97 herewith) please advise how far the position taken up by the Committee holds good viz:- (1) that they are trustees of the money subscribed.
